⏱ Turnaround time
It can take up to 3 -5 business days to run a background check on each applicant, which includes credit, criminal, rental history, employment verification and thoroughly review all submitted documents for all applicants.
In some cases, the approval of common interest Associations (HOA), landlord verifications, or unforeseen circumstances may require a longer processing period.
📝 Post-Application Approval Process and Property Availability
Upon approval of the Tenant Application by Real Property Management Engage, the applicant(s) shall have two (2) business days to sign the Lease Agreement and submit the required Security Deposit to secure the property . Payment must be made using certified funds (cashier’s check or money order) or any other payment method as specifically provided and accepted by Real Property Management Engage.
Please be advised that approval of your application does not automatically secure the property in your favor. Until the Lease Agreement is signed and the Security Deposit and/or First Month’s Rent are received, the property will remain listed on the market and available for showings to other potential tenants.
🐶 Pet Policy
Case by case for acceptance. RPM Engage use PetScreening to manage important information about your Pet or Assistance Animal. If you have No Pet or Animal you are required to complete the screening process at no charge ($0) to acknowledge applicable no pet policies. Application fee for each pet is $20, and 2 pets maximum per property. Based on the pet profile, pet FIDO score is provided by PetScreening which determines a refundable security deposit between $500 -$1000 first pet, monthly fee $30 – $100. For the additional pet, the security deposit is $500 – $750 and monthly fee $10 – $30
We cannot pre-approve pets without a fully submitted pet application.

We do not provide pre-screening approvals on people or pets without a submitted application due to fair housing laws. We recommend reading the information below to pre-screen yourself before submitting an application. If you meet the screening criteria, we highly recommend applying for the home.
Application Completion and Verification
An application is considered complete when it includes all required documents and all provided information—such as income verification, all applicants and occupants, employment details and landlord references—is verified by our team. We require applicants to ensure that their information is accurate and verifiable to avoid delays in the application process and move on to the next complete application.
First-Come, First-Served Basis with Timely Move-In
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, prioritizing applicants who submit complete and verifiable applications first. To manage our properties efficiently and to prevent extended vacancies, our policy does not allow properties to be held for more than 29 days. If the first applicant cannot move in within this period, and another qualified applicant can move in sooner, we may offer the lease to the latter. This policy ensures that we are able to offer housing opportunities promptly and maintain high occupancy rates.
Our application process is crafted to be as straightforward and fair as possible. We encourage all prospective tenants to submit their applications promptly with all necessary documentation for all applicants. This policy is uniformly applied to all applicants to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and equitably under the guidelines of our management practices.
Deposit-Free Option
Deposit-Free Technology Is Finally Here: There is no need to tie up your funds. The days of your security deposit money being locked away, collecting dust, are over. Residents who qualify are not required to pay a security deposit at some of our homes. Instead, you can give a pre-authorization, allowing your property manager to bill you up to a limited amount, just like a security deposit.
How You Qualify: We have partnered with Obligo who will securely test your bank account and available credit to see if you qualify for the deposit-free option. If you don’t qualify, or if you prefer to pay a conventional cash deposit, you can do so using the same online process.
You’re Still Accountable: If your property manager makes a charge against your pre-authorization, you will be able to pay the balance in installments using the payment method of your choice.

📆 Move-In
Submit your preferred actual move in date on your application. We do not accept “ASAP”, date should be no more than 15-20 days out and not a Weekend or Holiday.

The Real Property Management Engage Resident Benefits Package (RBP) delivers savings and convenient, professional services that make taking care of your home easy. This is a requirement for all homes under our management, and the exact terms and conditions are in the lease agreement. This includes air filter delivery, building your credit with on-time payment reporting to credit bureaus, move-in utilities concierge service, resident rewards, and more.
